Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Business Administration)

With USQ’s Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Business Administration) you will develop managerial and administrative techniques that will help you to lead and support your team to success and attain the goals of your organisation. Your skills and knowledge in administration will equip you to ensure the ethical practice and business sustainability of a multitude of organisations and prepare you for work in any business environment, including the virtual office environment.
In addition to your chosen specialization of Business Administration, you can choose to study another area in-depth with a second major, or broaden your knowledge with a combination of minors and approved courses. These can be chosen from a wide range of business and commerce-related courses.

Entry Requirements

  • Subject pre-requisite: English (4, SA) or equivalent
  • Mathematics A (4, SA) is assumed.

English Language Requirements

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.
Applying directly to USQ:

  • Semester 1, 2018 – applications close Monday 19 February, with semester 1 commencing on Monday 26 February 2018.
  • Semester 2, 2018 – applications close Monday 2 July, with semester 2 commencing on Monday 16 July.
  • Semester 3, 2018 – applications close Monday 5 November, with semester 3 commencing on Monday 19 November.

Credit for previous study or work experience

You may be eligible for credit if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.

You may be able to apply for scholarships to help with your study costs.
